The following exercise uses the H5P Drag & Drop content type to practice variable types for the textbook Introduction to Modern Statistics. To decide what type a variable has read their descriptions in the county dataset, which can be found in the usdata
R package.
The following exercise is just an example. The type of exercise is generic. It can be applied to all datasets where a description of the variables is available.
To relate the exercise to imstat I have used figure 1.1 (p.17) as a clue. Note that the diagram does not include binary (dichotomous) data as a subtype of the categorical data. But it would be easy to incorporate this information in the exercise.
